Our calculators produce estimates to help you plan a project. They are not a substitute for a professional Manual-J heat load calculation, a licensed HVAC contractor's assessment, or any other professional advice. Do not rely on these results for safety-critical decisions, code compliance, or equipment installation.

Accuracy

We use published ACCA Manual-J methodology and publicly available climate data. Results depend on factors we cannot account for remotely: air sealing, duct losses, window orientation, shading, and more. Actual equipment requirements may differ from the estimates shown.
